Personal Background and Interests:                                                                                                

• Family – Joan and I were married in 2009 Joan and are enjoying our blended family of 3 daughters, twin sons, 8 grandchildren and 2 sons-in-law.
• Golfing – What a great opportunity to enjoy time with my friends in our long-standing Hackers and Whackers Thursday night league.  Joan plays in a women’s league with friends that she met at the Pittsford YMCA.  We also enjoy getting out together for 9 holes and occasionally playing a round with our friends or family.
• Cooking – In the winter we focus on preparing more Italian dishes and comfort food.  When summer arrives we spend time most days grilling for 2 on weeknights and cookouts on weekends with family or friends.  
• Traveling – On the top of our list is Coastal Maine where we take road trips to small towns like Boothbay Harbor, York Harbor, and Kennebunkport. Other areas of interest include Charleston, South Carolina; the Outer Banks, and Wilmington, North Carolina.  We are fortunate to be so close to the Finger Lakes where we both grew up so we frequently take drives to Keuka Lake and Seneca Lake to take advantage of  all the area has to offer. We also like to stay at the historic Sherwood Inn, situated in the quaint village of Skaneateles on Skaneateles Lake.
• Fishing – My brother Mike and his wife Diane purchased a beautiful place on Keuka Lake. Joan and I are often invited to stay. After many years I am fishing again. I find it  more relaxing than golf and a great opportunity to spend time with my brother reminiscing and discussing current events while waiting for a bite. The only downside is that we have to get up so darn early.
• Boating – When staying on Keuka Lake we take a daily boat rides along the shoreline. Sometimes we go north towards Penn Yan, and sometimes we go south towards Hammondsport. Along the way we slowly pass the same quaint cottages and newer lake-houses but never do we tired of the scenery. As I take in the familiar lake smell it brings back memories when I was a kid  fishing with my dad in his small fishing boat with a 7.5 horse power Evinrude motor.
