Our family history of military service goes long past me being born in Ft. Benning, GA. I am proud to be a military daughter, wife and mother. After spending most of my life in Illinois we moved to Greer, SC to be close to my parents. I have held my real estate license for 16 yea rs and value the trust that my clients put in me and I work every day to continue to earn that trust and exceed their expectations. I am a take charge of the situation agent, always finding the answers and keeping a transaction moving forward. While I service all areas of real estate I love marketing homes, working with our Seniors and am very proud to serve our Military and our Veterans as well as our luxury market.

When you or a loved one are preparing for a senior living transition, quick, clear answers matter. Browse our 60-second guides below for fast clarity on the most common legal, housing, and real estate questions in Upstate SC.
1. Downsizing & Real Estate
Q: When is the best time to start downsizing before a move?
Quick Answer:
At least 3 to 6 months before listing your home. Start with non-sentimental areas like the attic, garage, or spare closets, handling one room at a time.
Q: How do we talk to an aging parent who is resistant to downsizing?
Quick Answer:
Frame the move around safety, comfort, and independence rather than "giving up the house." Involve them in small decisions like choosing favorite pieces for the new space.

2. Selling Your Home
Q: Should we remodel or make major repairs before selling Mom's house?
Quick Answer:
In most senior moves, major remodels do NOT yield a 100% return on investment and add unnecessary stress. Focus instead on deep cleaning, decluttering, and major safety items.

3. Buying & Relocating
Q: Can we buy into a senior community or new home before selling our current house? Quick Answer:
Yes! Many families utilize bridge loans, home equity lines of credit (HELOCs), or contingent purchase agreements to secure their next home before listing the primary residence.
