Linda is passionate about Real Estate by not only offering a superior level of service, but a heart-centered commitment to her clients and families throughout Washtenaw County and beyond. She started her career in Real Estate in 2000. An entrepreneur and helper at heart. Linda has a rich background that includes over forty years of owning and operating her own businesses, along with additional professions working directly with individuals.
Linda joined Howard Hanna Real Estate in 2005 and takes pride in being a Realtor with a commitment to the philosophies of honesty, integrity and teamwork. Having lived in the area for her entire life, she offers a unique perspective to her clients as they navigate which property will work best for them. In addition, Linda has expanded her knowledge by listing and selling properties throughout the entire state of Michigan, including the Upper Peninsula.

Born and raised in Ingham County, Linda grew up with a father who was a builder (even now at 90 years old, he continues to build and renovations). She found her passion early for not only how homes were built, but the accuracy in which they were built. Her passion led her to take a complete builders license course with (Oakland Builders), which she has found invaluable in her reality work. This knowledge has, and continues to provide an extra layer of confidence for her clients when purchasing Real Estate property.
Linda has resided in Chelsea for several years, in her free time, Linda enjoys spending time with her family both locally and in the UP, going on walks, getaways with girlfriends shopping and planning events,

I recently, actually yesterday, closed on my first home, on Gary Ave, Westland, MI and I couldn't be more excited! My experience working through your office with Linda Allen, was very impressive. I was introduced to Linda through a co-worker at the U of M hospitals, Ann Arbor, MI. Linda had sold my co-workers father's home. I was trying for a second time to purchase a home... my first experience, with a different realty company, was a disaster. I explained my bad experience to Linda and she stepped right up to the challenge without hesitation. I told Linda what I was looking for in a home and what I would not settle for and she got to work.
I received weekly listings to my email in return I would send listings to Linda that I initially found interesting while searching real estate sites. After being beat out by cash deals while looking at condos... I suggested that maybe the universe was directing me to get a house instead... And so, we looked and looked and looked at houses. I don't know how many offers Linda wrote submitted but needless to say after 5+ months I was discouraged. When I would tell Linda how dejected I was, Linda was right there with a pep talk and we would forge ahead... Each time Linda called me with appointments to look at homes or condos, she would show up with 5 or more... most often like 8 or so homes at a time. She was available to me by email, text, and phone for what seemed like 24/7... She told me "I will find you a house" several times over.. And she did.
I really had fun working with Linda and appreciate her patience with me and her perseverance in finding me a great home!!! I honestly feel that our relationship has moved from business to friendship.

My name is Lawrence Shuttleworth, I am a Chief Warrant Officer 3 in the US Army Reserve. I was recently selected for a tour of duty in Ann Arbor, MI after three years. Upon receiving my assignment, I set up a visit to the area from Massachusetts for the purpose of finding a place to live. This trip took three weeks setting up and I tried to coordinate with two other realtors through their websites. Neither realtor was responsive to my requests. When my wife, Claudia and I arrived in Chelsea, we determined that after I visited my unit, we would try to set up an appointment with Howard Hanna, due to the office location and location proximity to the hotel in which we were staying.
When we arrived in your office about 10 A.M. Monday, we were warmly greeted and introduced to Linda Allen to look for rental properties. We explained what we were looking for and she went right to work. Within an hour we were looking at places to rent and Linda was making calls, setting up appointments, and verifying availability. We viewed four condominiums and a house for rent that afternoon. She also took time to point out different locations for shopping and recreation.
The next morning, we arrived at the office to apply for the place we decided on, but Linda informed us it was not available, even though it was still advertised. Undeterred, Linda lined up five more places for us to see. When we decided on a place, Linda stayed right with us, reviewing the paperwork, and even spotted a couple errors made by the agent advertising the property, saving us hundreds of dollars. Linda has followed through on the rental agreement, making sure the deal is closed.
We have used other realtors that have assisted us in looking for houses to buy in Massachusetts and New York, but none have gone the lengths to serve us as Linda. She took the time to show us around the construction tie-ups and how to navigate between towns without having to return to the interstate. Not only did she help us secure a condo, she also pointed us in the right direction to find furniture for the condo. Even the furniture store provided outstanding service. I will not hesitate to recommend Linda to anyone moving or trying to relocate in the Chelsea or Ann Arbor areas. We are truly grateful for Linda's professionalism, outstanding service and assistance in closing the deal, it makes my transition much easier into my new position and new area.
