MY BIO: I am a proud graduate of Waterloo High School and attended various classes at Hiram and Kent State University. I found that my passion was in real estate. After attending Hondros college and I earned my Real Estate License in 1999 and have been a FULL-TIME REALTOR ever since! In addition to working 60 hours a week or more, I do at least 30 hours of ongoing continuing education every 3 years to make sure that I am on top of the latest legal and tech trends to better service my clients.

COMMUNITY SERVICE:  I am a current member of the KENT CHAMBER of COMMERCE and a RANDOLPH TOWNSHIP TRUSTEE. I serve on the Portage County Emergency Management Association as well as the Local Emergency Planning Committee,  both of which represent all Portage County Townships. 

I am also a LION CLUB member and host many Lunches for Senior Citizens because I enjoy their company and get much more than I give by being a part of it. I have been a member of many different boards and associations in my career....all with the desire to help and improve our communities.

I would really like to say what a great experience that we had working with you on the prospect of selling our home. 
 
In our initial meeting, you talked to my wife and I about your philosophy that when working with clients in selling a home, that the thing that the agent should be most concerned about was the well being of the family that they were marketing the home for.  I also vividly remember you saying that you would love to sell our house, but the most important thing in your mind was that we were happy with the entire experience in dealing with you as an agent.  Well when you left that day, my wife and I were thrilled that we had the opportunity to work with what appeared to be a very competent real estate agent with great credentials, and in the back of my mind I was thinking with a great sales pitch.
 
Along the way, you brought us many offers, however, based on the market conditions they were below what we were willing consider for our home.  Based on our circumstances, and the fact that we were willing to move back to the area unless we got what were expected from the home, you continued to bring prospective buyers into the home with the understanding that we were not interested in entertaining offers on our home from bargain shoppers.  You could have very easily got frustrated with us and stopped actively selling our home, but you took an approach in line with you philosophy from our first meeting, and you keep pushing to bring us an offer that was in line with our expectations.
 
Well as time moved on and my family began to miss Aurora, we made a decision that we would be moving back to our house in Aurora.  After our family made this decision, and as fate would have it, you presented us with a full price offer on our home in a very depressed economic environment, which is a real testament to you and your ability as a real estate agent.  However, what has really compelled me to write this letter was my feeling about you as a person, and how you handled the situation after we told you that we were rejecting the full price offer and moving back to Aurora.  Again, you stood behind your original message of making sure that our family came first.  I think your quote was something to the effect of “sure, I would love to sell your house, but I would much rather that your family was happy and you were happy with the experience of working with me.” 
 
Well needless to say, we were delighted with our experience in dealing with you, and your professionalism in dealing with what was a difficult circumstance.  I am not sure anyone else would have viewed the situation the way you did, and we a very fortunate and grateful to have been working with you during this process.  If there is anything that I can do to help you in the future such as a reference etc, please feel free to contact me.  My wife and I will definitely let anyone that we know that is looking to sell a house to make sure they look up Sue White, because you are not only a great agent, but most importantly a great person.
