Buyers today are savvy and will look at the littlest detail of your home, so it’s important that you do a thorough check prior to any showings.  With just a little bit of creativity, you can stage your home to sell quickly and at top dollar.

The Outside of Your Home

This is the first part of your house that potential buyers will see.  As the old saying goes, “first impressions make a lasting impression.”  What can you do to make it more attractive?  Take a moment to make an objective opinion about the exterior of your home.

  • Check the fence; does it need repaired or repainted?

  • Patch any holes in the driveway and sidewalk; wash both
  • Clean out the garage/shed; neatly arrange items inside
  • Do the entrance light and doorbell work properly?

The Inside of Your Home

  • You’ll want to make sure that every room they visit is spacious, organized, and bright.

  • Bathrooms must sparkle!
