Nancy: As a Homes of Distinction Specialist, I know that your home is likely one of your largest and most valuable assets and you deserve my personal time, attention and oversight whether you are selling or buying. I noticed that your agent sign rider has your cell phone number on it -- why?
Nancy: My cell number is on all of my sign riders so I can personally answer your questions whether from Buyers or Sellers. You may be driving around and have a question about a home that is for sale -- I can answer all of your questions whether it is my listing or not! I prefer to answer your questions personally on my cell phone instead of using just a main office number, an assistant’s number, or on a "999" answering service number where your voice mail can linger. You personally oversee and stage your own photos -- why?
Nancy: The photographs of your home will be seen worldwide on my website on Howard Hanna, as well as the websites for Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, Christie’s International Real Estate, Luxury Portfolio and 750 other websites that service the globe. My goal is to present your home in the best photographic sequence as possible and keep the photographs fresh for seasonal changes.
You actually hold open houses for your listings when convenient for your Sellers -- why?
Nancy: My experience has been that homes can sell from open houses -- which is the whole point of having your home on the market! Open Houses give Buyers a chance to view your home on a leisurely Sunday afternoon. They can also schedule a private showing appointment with me in a time frame that is convenient for them, if they prefer.
So, you can help provide Buyers/Sellers with help on paint and fabric colors, furniture layout, renovation ideas and so many other ideas to personalize or to depersonalize their homes?
Nancy: Yes, I have many years of experience in sales, color consulting, re-design ideas using your own furnishings, optimal furniture layout, renovation ideas including where space can be reconfigured to accommodate baths, stairs, appliances, and many other suggestions for Buyers/Sellers. Many times, I walk in to a home and can see it redone right before my eyes -- you either have this ability to envision change or you don't -- and some people have difficulty with this process. I regularly attend continuing education classes at the Ohio Design Center. My background includes organizational and design work for a local custom fabrication company from 1998 to the present. I can help you find resources to get your work done in an efficient manner to keep you on target with your schedule. If you need more thorough design work, I have a number of referrals for your identified budget.
If you are selling your home, I can also help you “depersonalize” your home to make it easier for potential Buyers to envision moving in to the space. Remember, YOU do not come with the home when you SELL, so please keep in mind that de-cluttering and depersonalizing are most important to help with listing photography and also to help Buyers imagine their furnishings in the new home that they are about to purchase!
What does "Bi-Coastal Realtor" mean?
Nancy: As a lifelong Clevelander, I have lived on both sides of Cleveland and, if you have spent more than five minutes in Cleveland, you know that this city is divided by the Cuyahoga River and that many people are truly only familiar with "their side of town" and not with all of Greater Cleveland. I have lived and worked on the West side, East side and in Downtown Cleveland and am very proud of my working knowledge of all of Greater Cleveland!
