I have a passion for real estate and love what I do! With over 28 years of experience in new construction, mortgages and residential sales I have a well-rounded real estate background full of expertise I share with my clients.
Buying and selling real estate involves hundreds of thousands of dollars at a time. Having an expert with an extensive knowledge of the process who can explain the ins and outs of the market, the buying and selling processes and manage all of the moving pieces is paramount to a successful ending.
Born and raised in the area, I have expertise in Washtenaw and Livingston counties and the edges of the surrounding counties.
On a personal note, I have a passion for libraries and gardening and am heavily involved with local schools:
- Board member of the Friends of the Dexter District Library since 2005.
- Fund-raising tens of thousands of dollars every year to sponsor programing and special events.
- Chair for Bond in 2006 to get the new Dexter Library built and Millage Renewals in 2010 and 2016- all Successful Campaigns!
- Volunteer at school libraries in Dexter helping children find and check out books and reading books during library hour.
- Skyline High School Business Magnet Internship Program- Annually since 2016-accept interns from Skyline and help mentor, guide and set an example on the daily life of running a business.
- Giving back to our schools and being there as a role model and showing our young people we care is an important part of community building for me.
- I also love gardening! Planting indigenous perennials, trees, prairieland and creating spaces for our flora and fauna to survive and thrive is what it is all about! Plus, I love digging in the dirt and going barefoot!
- Dexter Chairperson for the CHILDRENS FREE CARE FUND- Howard Hanna’s fundraiser to support local children’s hospitals.
- Created the Bike the B2B bike riding event for the Children’s Free Care Fund as the primary Dexter Howard Hanna fundraiser where our goal is to have 0 overhead and 100% of our donations go to support our cause.
I have found a way to incorporate my work life and supporting my local community together and look forward to my job every day.
