I was fortunate to grow up and raise my children in Tallahassee, FL, and we're all Florida State Seminole fans. Although we loved the proximity to the beach, we now enjoy the Western North Carolina mountain vistas just as much. We chose Asheville, NC on a leap of faith, and count our blessings daily that we’re surrounded by all the beauty and recreation this area has to offer. The quirkiness, individuality, acceptance, and diversity of West Asheville keeps a smile on my face.

I have 4 grown children, as well as 3 beautiful grandchildren. When the kids visit, we can often be found at Carrier Park competing in a "Family Olympics," which includes beach volleyball, hula hoop running, Spikeball, and crab walk races. Or you can find us drifting down the French Broad River with some local craft brews in the floating cooler. Tennis, fitness, and cooking are the activities I'm most passionate about and LOVE living in "Foodtopia"!

As a full-time professional real estate agent, I enjoy helping my clients determine exactly what they desire in a home, finding them that home, and not settling for the status quo. Together we dream about it, reach for it, and obtain it!

My interest in real estate began in 1989 when I invested in a quadruplex. Over the next several years, I continued expanding on investments, ultimately accumulating 75 units. As my four children grew and became self sufficient, I asked myself, "OK, what do I want to be when I grow up?" At that point, I realized that staying in real estate was my passion and the transition to residential sales was a natural one. I obtained my Florida Residential Real Estate license in 2005 and continue to maintain my Florida license as well as my North Carolina license as the two markets are heavily intertwined and I'm able to service my clients with homes in both areas.

Since 2005, I have fostered my clients through their most crucial decisions with patience, knowledge, problem solving skills, and organization. I have even found myself awake in the middle of the night saying "No! My client is settling for the wrong house—they can't do this!" That just shows how much I take my job to heart and don't sleep until it's right!
