What Inspired Your Shift to a Career in Real Estate?

Initially carving a successful path in corporate retail, where I dedicated many years to ensuring garments met the consistent quality and fit expected by customers, I reached a point where I had given my all to the sector. This experience laid a robust foundation for a seamless transition into real estate, enabling me to persist in guiding clients toward finding their perfect match. Acquiring my real estate license marked the beginning of a journey, though the shift to self-employment required a significant leap of faith. That leap has proven to be one of my best decisions, as every day introduces new excitement and diverse scenarios with each client. Despite the hurdles encountered, the joy and fulfillment derived from assisting clients in purchasing their first homes or advancing to the next chapter in their lives are immeasurable.

How Has Living in Charlotte Enriched Your Life and Career?

My family and I settled in Charlotte more than 15 years ago, initially moving into the Steele Creek Yorkshire neighborhood before transitioning to the Palisades. Observing the transformation and growth of Steele Creek has been astonishing. The area was relatively undeveloped at our arrival, with only a few amenities like Target and Harris Teeter, and Steele Creek was not widely known. Witnessing the dramatic evolution of the area has been an enriching experience, both personally and professionally.

What Fuels Your Passion for Real Estate?

The core of my motivation lies in the joy and success of others. Being a part of my clients' journey, whether in buying or selling a home, allows me to witness their happiness and achievements firsthand. Each day presents an opportunity to meet new faces, explore different areas, and navigate through a myriad of unique situations, keeping the passion for my profession bright.

How Do You Enjoy Spending Your Free Time?

My collegiate years were dominated by a fervent passion for dance, encompassing various styles such as ballet, tap, and pointe. This passion extended into my adult life through performances and teaching. The arrival of my son introduced a shift in my recreational interests towards hiking, camping, and general outdoor adventures. My family takes great pleasure in discovering new trails, exploring nature, and enjoying unique culinary experiences.

Can You Share an Interesting Fact About Yourself?

Before meeting my partner Chris, camping was foreign to me. Our initial camping adventure over a decade ago sparked a profound interest that led to my son joining the Scouting BSA and me camping more than 20 times and achieving the Woodbadge rank. One of our most memorable family expeditions was hiking from rim to rim of the Grand Canyon and spending a night at the base in Phantom Ranch. This experience beautifully highlights our love for the great outdoors.
