GROWING UP DAVIDSON

                 Beth Knox Sullivan has been a successful realtor for over 30 years. However, there was a time when working in her family’s real estate business was the last thing she wanted to do. “When I got into trouble as a teenager, my parents would make me go to the office and answer the phone as my punishment,” Beth laughs. That office belonged to Knox Realty, a company founded by Beth’s parents in 1973. A mainstay on Main Street in Davidson for 37 successful years, it was here that Beth learned from her father that some things never change: integrity, authenticity, and fairness. These invaluable lessons took root in Beth’s hometown heart at the outset of her career, producing a consummate professional with a deep and abiding love for all things Davidson.

Few people are as in touch with small town magic as Beth. When her children were little, they loved walking to the Soda Shop on Main Street—the same place where a young Beth used to ride her horse when she got a hankering for a milkshake, and the same place where her clients now spend time with their families. A graceful statue in memory of her mother keeps close company with the Russell B.
