In 1998, as a single mom, I found myself at a career crossroads. I had always loved teaching, but felt a strong pull toward real estate. I soon realized that even if I was no longer in my language arts classroom, I could still be an educator. Today, my passion is giving my clients the knowledge and education they need to make the best real estate decisions possible.

My personal experience in relocating from New York to Raleigh has helped me realize and appreciate that when people move into this area, they are looking not for just a house, but an entire lifestyle. I see my role as a total moving consultant, providing area suggestions, from doctors to decorators. I work really hard to hear what my clients have to say, and even what they don’t say. Over the years, this approach has led to the friendships and relationships I value beyond anything else in my career.

As a wife, mom and youthful grandmother to a blended family we lovingly call The Brady Bunch,’ I bring a unique understanding of the importance of finding the perfect family home and location. My own home is the base for family gatherings and long walks with the dogs. It’s also convenient to the Raleigh Racquet Club, where you’ll find me participating in a number of tennis leagues when I’m not with clients or family.

I’m happy to work with everyone, from first-time homebuyers to executive-level clients. I advise my buyers to shop with the expectation of an emotional response, and being a strong buyers’ agent gives me the ability to help sellers offer and present the kind of home people are ready to buy. For clients interested in new construction, whether it’s a production or custom builder, I can help with site and floor plan selection, then work closely with the builder throughout the entire construction process.
