Vinny Ferrara Lic. RE Salesperson

Growing up on South Hill just past Ithaca College, Vinny went through Ithaca City Schools, graduating Ithaca High School in 2014. After graduating high school, Vinny attended SUNY Delhi, graduating Cum Laude with a Bachelors in Technology. Vinny majored in Architectural Design and Building, and learned how to actually BUILD a single-family home and realistic design and construction. He studied mainly residential design for four years, starting with hand drawings, all the way up to all the latest design programs like CAD and SketchUp. Although he loved the design aspect of this potential new career as an Architect, the office life and future of sitting at a desk from 9am-5pm with occasional site visits was NOT for him.

Moving back to Ithaca in 2018, Vinny realized that Real Estate was a mixture of everything he loved! Architectural design, specifically single-family homes, and having the flexibility to meet new people and be “active” in the community every day. Fully licensed and ready to go in June 2019, Vinny was the newest (and youngest at the time) agent with Howard Hanna Ithaca.

Vinny has quickly closed over $20M in sales over 4 four short years, representing buyers, sellers and renters! Representing buyers in this ever-changing and intense market is where Vinny has truly shined. First-time-homebuyers have raved that Vinny makes the process easy, approachable, and smooth. In the first three years, Vinny was apart of the very first formed real estate team in Ithaca, gaining experience and knowledge that only seasoned agents can pass on. Soaking it all in, Vinny is now an independent agent with Howard Hanna, and is ecstatic to continue building a custom brand in real estate.

Moving forward, Vinny is excited to continue growing in his career, and helping buyers sellers and renters find their dream home. Grounded in the Ithaca Hancock St office with Howard Hanna, Vinny is ready to assist in Tompkins County, as well as the entire Finger Lakes region.
