Sharon owned Ace Advertising, Printing & Brochure Distribution for over 15 years.  Which also published “What’s Happening Western New York and Northwestern Pennsylvania”.   The monthly publication promoted local events, dining, hotels and things to do. Ace Brochure Distribution was purchased from the Chautauqua County Visitors Bureau and Bill Merritt in 2000. The monthly magazine and the brochure racks form a valuable and successful advertising alliance.

A graduate of Fredonia High School and Jamestown Community College, and studied at Fredonia State University.

Sharon has two daughters raised in Bemus Point, Jillian Messinger of Tampa FL and Amy (Messinger) Larson of Busti and their son and first grandson, Conway Larson.
