Serving Lenawee County and Surrounding Communities
I am committed to serving the greater Lenawee County area, assisting individuals in buying and selling real estate within our vibrant communities. Lenawee County is renowned for its small-town atmosphere, featuring picturesque places such as Tecumseh, Adrian, and Blissfield. Residents enjoy the benefits of a lower cost of living while maintaining convenient access to metropolitan areas for work. Our towns are characterized by a strong sense of community, making them desirable places to call home.
Personal Ties to the Area
My connection to this region runs deep, as I am a sixth-generation member of a Tecumseh family. I am proud to have grown up and graduated from Tecumseh Public Schools. After high school, I attended Adrian College, where I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Business.
Professional Background and Experience
My career began in banking, where I advanced through several institutions, eventually becoming Chief Lending Officer at two major credit unions serving the Metro-Detroit area. In 2000, I obtained my Real Estate Broker’s license, further broadening my expertise in the field.
After several decades living and working in Ann Arbor and Detroit, I felt compelled to return to my roots and embark on a second career as a Realtor in Lenawee County. My knowledge of the Southeastern Michigan real estate market, combined with extensive business experience, uniquely positions me to serve my clients effectively.
Expertise in Real Estate and Lending
With over 35 years of experience managing and leading teams, I have honed my skills in real estate valuation and appraisal analysis. My career has also provided me with significant expertise in land title chain analysis and resolving complex title chain issues. In addition, I have served as a loan underwriter and loan officer and have supervised both mortgage underwriting teams and mortgage loan officers.
Community Involvement
I am active in our community. I currently serve as a member of the Adrian College Alumni Board of Directors. I also currently serve as an advisor to the undergraduate chapters of Theta Chi Fraternity at Adrian College and The University of Michigan. I am also passionate about animal welfare; I have personally rescued three older Beagles and financially supported private rescue organizations.
