As a Native Tarheel (I grew up in Ava Gardner's hometown of Smithfield), I graduated from UNC Chapel Hill in 1981 with BA Degrees in Political Science and Speech Communications. I was a member (elected) of the University's Student Government Council for two Years.

While in my Corporate career, I lived in Manhattan, NY's Borough of Queens, Montclair, NJ, Atlanta, GA, Tampa and Hollywood Beach, FL, before being drawn back to the beautiful state of North Carolina in 2002!

Customer Service has been the focus of my professional life throughout two careers, spanning 27 years in the corporate world plus the past nineteen years in Western North Carolina Real Estate. For 27 years I worked for Fortune 100 Companies and International firms in the Pulp and Paper Industry in positions involving sales, marketing, and sales management with territories including the Southeastern United States, the continental United States at large, Mexico, Canada, and Finland. During the years in the corporate world, I developed my total Customer-Centric approach to sales and developed a reputation as the guy to go to if you wanted a problem solved.

In 2007 I obtained my Real Estate license and brought my Customer-Centric approach to my real estate clients. Additionally, I am one of only 3% of all National Realtors who hold ALL of the following designations: Certified Residential Specialist, Graduate of the Realtor Institute, Accredited Buyers Representative, e-Pro, Senior Real Estate Specialist, and the National Association of Realtors Diversity Certification. In addition, I am certified by the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World as a Relocation Specialist.

Throughout my nineteen years in Real Estate, using my Customer-Centric approach, I have assisted scores of families in both purchasing and selling their properties, receiving positive accolades from my Clients, all of whom have left the Closing table completely satisfied that my skills and abilities helped them accomplish their Real Estate goals. Among my fellow real estate colleagues, I have continued my reputation from the corporate world as the guy to go to if you want a problem solved.
