Rhonda Phillips

As a lifelong resident of Western North Carolina, rural living and small community is what Rhonda loves best. She is passionate about sustainable living and has practiced it for the three decades she and her husband have owned their seventy acre farm. Rhonda is well versed in traditional "homesteading" practices that are being rediscovered today like, organic gardening, canning, and raising livestock. She enjoys typical outdoor Western North Carolina mountain adventures with her three children and three young grandsons.

After a long and successful career as an educator, Real Estate was a natural choice for the next phase of Rhonda's life. Having been surrounded by family members who are experienced Realtors, contractors, and even Real Estate inspectors, Rhonda was always very interested in the housing industry and eagerly sought to establish her own Real Estate career.

After thirty years in education, Rhonda’s transition from teaching to real estate was an easy one. In the same way Rhonda taught each student by meeting their individual needs, Rhonda also serves each client by their individual needs. Educated in the sciences makes data analysis of the market part of her daily routine and keeps Rhonda intune with the inventory of available property. Also, being a mountain native coupled with her background in Environment Science, Rhonda gives her clients a unique perspective on locations and topography that few agents can offer. Listening to clients express their needs, whether it be to find the perfect riverside location or to sell the family estate, Rhonda will tenaciously set out to hit the mark!
