Michael grew up a few hours away in Williamsburg, Virginia but discovered the beauty of Nelson County and the Blue Ridge Mountains as a young boy on a family trip. After attending college in Lexington, Virginia, he began a 22-year career in the US Army that took him and his family across the nation and Europe. Eventually, he and his wife returned to Williamsburg but soon found themselves visiting the area so often that they purchased a second home there, which eventually became their forever home! Michael loves the mountains, the lifestyle and the peacefulness of living amongst the beauty of the area where there is truly only one stoplight in the entire county! His passion is helping others find their own little slice of heaven here in Blue Ridge Mountains of Virginia!
