Kate later made her home in Harrisonburg after marrying her husband and quickly fell in love with the charm of the Shenandoah Valley. They now share their lives with two cats, Hugh and Rogue, and a lovable Great Dane named Pixie.

With 15 years of experience as a preschool teacher, Kate developed a sharp eye for detail and a deep understanding of what makes a space feel warm, functional, and family-friendly. She's a self-declared pop culture nerd with a love for film, literature, and trying new cuisines. On weekends, you'll likely find her exploring local farmers' markets or testing her trivia skills in downtown Harrisonburg.
