Kandi Hendricks

I am a proud native of Hendersonville, NC. I attended Appalachian State University, where I met my husband. After moving around for 12 years, we returned home and have never looked back. We feel so blessed to be able to raise our two children in this beautiful mountain town!

I grew up on what is a still thriving apple farm and couldn't be more proud to be a farmer’s daughter. My family now owns Saint Paul Mountain Vineyards in Hendersonville, a destination winery and tasting room, which allows us to maintain our connection with the land.

I am also passionate about giving back to the community. From chairing the premier fundraiser for Pardee Hospital Foundation to being on the executive committee that started the Women United initiative for the United Way, I choose to use my voice to serve. I've also volunteered with The Boys and Girls Club, Camplify, and Helping Hands. Our small town is full of big givers of time and talent, and we are lucky to live in a place like this.

As a family, we love to soak up everything these majestic mountains have to offer. Hiking, biking, eating great food, or just strolling through our neighborhood in Laurel Park, we never take for granted what Western North Carolina has to offer.
