Janis McCormick has been with Howard Hanna since 2008, the year she was licensed. She was a top agent in the Chagrin Falls office, Rookie of the Year, and National Sales Excellence recipient. Janis joined the Howard Hanna management team in 2011, leading the Solon office to great success during her tenure there, and then went on to lead the award-winning Hudson office for eight years. Janis was then named the Regional Vice President of the East Region, where her leadership, organizational and communication skills --  as well as her vast knowledge of the real estate market and industry -- were put to great use. She retired from senior management in the spring of 2025 and is currently an active agent in the NE Ohio area.

Prior to her real estate career, Janis was a public relations and marketing executive with national and regional companies both in Chicago and Cleveland. She grew up in Shaker Heights, received her undergraduate degree from the University of Oregon and attended the Masters Program at the Art Institute of Chicago. Janis resides with her husband in Orange Village and has three grown children and three grandsons.
