Dr Grant Evans was born and raised in Pittsburgh, PA. and graduated from the Univ. of Pittsburgh as well as the National College of Chiropractic in Chicago, Ill. He started and ran a very successful Chiropractic practice in Columbus, Ohio and has been a Buckeye for over 30 years. Grant is married to his wife Mia and has 2 children, 3 grandkids and 3 Shitzus!!
Grant and his wife have been coming to Hilton Head for over 25 years and after selling his Chiropractic practice in Ohio, they moved here permanently about 3 years ago. Grant originally became involved with real estate while building "Spec" homes on Hilton Head as well as buying and selling many personal properties for himself as investment s and for personal use. He has been involved with the building of 12 "Spec" homes on the island ranging in price from the $700,000-$2,600,000 ranges and currently has a home for sale in prestigious Long Cove for $875,000.
As a result of being involved in over 10 Million Dollars of buying and selling real estate on the island, he has now using that past experience to assist Buyers and Sellers in purchasing their own "piece of the dream" on our beautiful island! He mostly works with Buyers from "Up North" who come down and may be overwhelmed with both the vast number of properties as well as real estate agents on the island. Because of his unique prospective of first being a professional physician prior to being now involved in real estate, he brings more of a Buyers mentality viewpoint when negotiating sales or purchases.
Grants also is Executive Director of a very popular non-profit charity on Hilton Head called Operation R&R. It is a military family support charity which brings Soldiers/Marines and their spouse and children from 4 local military bases to spend a virtually free weeks stay in donated Homes and villas on Hilton Head Island from Sept-May each year. To date Operation R&R has provided relief to over 1500 deserving military families from the many reintegration issues they have to deal with after multiple deployments. Grant also is an avid golfer and loves spending time with his wife and dogs at the beach!
