Ellen Morgan Branch Leader / Broker-in-Charge

Allen Tate Companies, the Carolinas’ leading real estate company, has named Ellen Morgan as branch leader and broker-in-charge of the company’s Huntersville office. In her new role, Morgan will oversee branch operations and lead and grow a team of more than 40 Allen Tate Realtors® and staff.

An accomplished professional, Morgan began her real estate career with Allen Tate in 1999 and earned her real estate license in 2000. She previously served as branch leader and broker-in-charge of the Charlotte-University City office and worked as a Realtor® at the Allen Tate Lake Norman office. She has also held positions with Allen Tate Marketing, Allen Tate Insurance, and Builder Services.

Morgan received the Allen Tate leadership team 2022 Phoenix Award and the 2023 Rising Star Award. She is a Barbara Tate Legendary Service Award recipient, an Allen Tate Legends Club member, and a Ninja Selling Installation graduate. She has served on Allen Tate's Residential Advisory Committee and on the Tate Cares Campaign Leadership Team.

Morgan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in interpersonal/organizational communication and psychology from UNC-Chapel Hill. She is an active volunteer with the Lake Norman Charter School PTO and the Athletic Booster Club.

A native of Statesville, Morgan and her husband Allan make their home in Huntersville with their two teenage sons. She enjoys watching her sons play basketball and baseball, spending time outdoors with her husband and dog, reading, traveling, and checking out new restaurants and attractions around Charlotte and Lake Norman with her family and friends.
