Elizabeth's Biography
Being a ninth generation native of Asheville, there are some great stories and history to share about this beautiful area I still call home. I was fortunate to grow up playing in Pisgah National Forest and the Great Smoky Mountains National Forest. These mountains have always been my favorite, as I have enjoyed the trails, the lakes, the ski hills and all the other outdoor activities this area offers. I have witnessed quite the transformation of Asheville as a sleepy little town in my youth to the thriving city and destination that it is today. I am an Asheville High School graduate, and my degree is Broadcast Journalism from Wake Forest University. Having lived in many beautiful places throughout the country, I have worked extensively in Sales and Marketing in Washington, DC, Alexandria, VA, Boulder, CO, Northern Michigan and Western North Carolina. In 2003, I acquired my NC Real Estate License, and worked in the industry until moving to Alpena, Michigan in 2010. I moved back to NC in 2018, at which time I started working for Beverly-Hanks Realtors. I have two amazing boys, with one starting his career as an Attorney in Asheville and the other acquiring his Masters in Business and working as a Graduate Assistant for Samford University. Volunteerism has always been an important role in every community in which I lived. I currently serve on the Board of Directors for Friends of Dupont State Forest. I also volunteer for Conserving Carolina, Brackenfest Bike Trail Fundraiser and Mountain Song Festival. When not working, you will find me spending time with family or hiking and mountain biking the amazing trails in Western North Carolina.
Let me put my real estate experience, professionalism and knowledge of this area to work for you.
Elizabeth's Experience
Elizabeth started her real estate career by acquiring her NC license in 2003. Her home base was in Asheville, but her extensive background - going back nine generations - in the greater Buncombe area offered her a wide network and intimate knowledge of the region. She used this personal history to assist clients across Western North Carolina, offering the unique backstory that only a true native could offer.
To Elizabeth, real estate is the evolution of a story. Real property has evolved with the transformation of this area, bringing new beginnings and new chapters as people come and go. Everyone’s story is unique, whether listing an inherited family estate, assisting recent retirees with a relocation, or walking property to discover the perfect build site for a family’s mountain retreat. Elizabeth likes being a part of these stories. Buying or selling property is a hefty endeavor, regardless of the circumstances, and she enjoys the people she helps and the relationships she builds as she assists with these transitions. Every client receives a bespoke, tailored experience, unique to their specific needs. This attention to detail is a driving force to Elizabeth, as she gives her all to each client, and she ensures that she is never too busy or spread too thin to provide exceptional service.
This exceptional service includes, without hesitation, honesty. In an industry that is deeply competitive, Elizabeth stands apart from the crowd. She sees herself as a real estate professional, hired to give professional advice and conduct thorough research. For these reasons, Elizabeth has a growing list of loyal clients, and she is grateful for each buyer or seller with whom she gets to assist.
