2020 was certainly an interesting year!
At the beginning of 2020 real estate was moving along well – properties were selling briskly and interest rates were low. March and the pandemic arrived and no one was quite sure what might happen to the real estate market. Realtors made adjustments to make sure clients were safe, transactions continued to happen, and my sales volume for 2020 actually almost doubled from 2019. My sales came from all sectors – from a townhome in the City of Canandaigua to a quaint village home in Honeoye Falls to fifty acres of woods in Springwater to lakefronts on Honeoye Lake to a double in Richmond and several single family homes. For sellers in 2021 there is a great need for listings so properties generally sell quickly and often over list price. For buyers the interest rates continue to be at historic lows so it is possible to get into a nicer home than might have been possible only a few years ago. Whether you’re selling or buying, whether your interest is in vacant land, a single family home, a lakefront, or another type of property, please contact me and we will make it happen.
