I fell in love with the mountains of Western North Carolina in the late 1990s after moving to Asheville from snowy New England, and I have never looked back. I am a graduate of the University of Vermont, where I earned a BA in Political Science and Environmental Studies while also playing varsity soccer. More importantly, this is where I met my wife Rachael, to whom I have been married since 1992. Rachael, a classroom teacher for more than 20 years, and I have two boys who attended both private and public schools in Asheville. Both sons are graduates of Ole Miss in Oxford, MS.

My passion for customer service led me to become a full-time REALTOR? at Allen Tate/Beverly-Hanks. After college, my wife and I owned a wings and ribs restaurant for over six years. Through that business, I not only became a connoisseur of wings, but became obsessed with providing the absolute best customer first experience to each and every one of my clients. I brought that same spirit to sales and executive sales management positions at several manufacturing companies in Asheville.
