David Barken has been an active real estate investor since 2009. Having worked in property management and residential construction/remodeling, he supports local small-scale development and renovation. He is passionate about providing quality housing and promoting investment in our community.

A graduate of the Ithaca City school system, David received a history degree from Ithaca College. As a lifelong Ithaca resident, he understands the local landscape.  This enhances his unique market perspective, offering added value for clients.  His interests include urban planning, intergenerational housing, and woodworking.

David specializes in urban infill construction in downtown Ithaca. He has firsthand experience navigating local zoning and building codes that dictate land use practices throughout Tompkins County. He is proficient in property management, contracting, development, and sales. David has a strong appreciation for the unique needs of each client.
