There is truly something unique and special about Asheville and WNC in general. Whether it’s the natural beauty, outdoor activities, food scene, arts, diversity of its people, or simply the healthier lifestyle that so many residents enjoy, living and working in the area is a breath of fresh air. Returning to my home state after several years away just felt right.

After raising our two daughters in the suburbs of Atlanta and seeing them successfully complete undergraduate studies at the University of Georgia, my wife Jacquie and I made the decision to escape the big-city hustle and bustle in 2014 and seek out our dream home in this beautiful and majestic mountain mosaic. One of the best decisions we’ve ever made.

Spare time is a gift, but one that I love to spend with my beautiful wife and real estate partner, Jacquie, along with our two adorable Shih Tzus, Murphy and Bailey. Cycling is another passion of mine, with a focus on track sprinting. Now that Jacquie has an eBike, she gives me a run for my money…especially on the local climbs. One weekly ritual we thoroughly enjoy during the fall is watching our beloved UGA football team... now back-to-back reigning national champions (Go Dawgs!). We also enjoy hiking, kayaking, and just being outside taking in all this beautiful part of the country has to offer.

Buying and selling a home has become quite complex in recent years and certainly can be a little overwhelming. My priority is you—helping you navigate this significant decision by protecting your interests and avoiding or mitigating unwanted surprises.

My path to real estate was not exactly conventional. Following my time at Appalachian State University, I spent eight years living on the West Coast, working in various aspects of the travel industry. My roles kept drifting more and more toward the IT sector, where I ultimately ended up spending 20+ years managing a variety of information technology teams for one of the Big 4 accounting firms. I’m accustomed to staying on top of industry best practices and developments by leveraging the latest technologies. But my primary interest and passion has always been real estate, as I would constantly check new listings and stay abreast of market trends. I actually found our last four properties, including our current home in Weaverville, as well as our quaint vacation rental just down the road.

I’m continually seeking to expand my knowledge through education and training, having recently earned certifications/designations such as e-PRO (mastery of advanced digital marketing techniques), GREEN (energy efficiency and sustainability), AHWD (diversity specialization in today’s multicultural market), PSA (Pricing Strategy Advisor), LRE, etc.
