Since May of 2004 I have been assisting clients with both buying and selling their Homes. Early in my career I started in the Downtown and German Village offices and worked a lot in the metro area. For ten years I was the Condo President of Victorian Gate, a 161-unit condominium complex on Goodale Park in the Short North. I enjoyed the experience and learned a ton about condominiums and assisting their unit owners. I still love the villages and enjoy helping several friends and clients who live there. As some of my friends got older and had children, there was a migration to the suburbs for the schools and more sqft. To this day I enjoy working in both areas.
During most years my transactions are split 50/50 between buying and selling. Most seasoned agents find it important to be on both sides of a transaction to understand how a market is reacting in real time. Handling both sides of a transaction has helped me to be a better agent. Moreover, it has helped me retain an above 98% accuracy rate with my list price to sales price. Having knowledge about an area is important but just as important is knowing what prices are in a neighborhood. It can be the difference between selling or buying at the right price or making a costly mistake.
Another part of real estate I enjoy is helping my clients find great investment properties. From Duplexes to apartment building. From fixer uppers to several acre farms. I have assisted my clients with their investment dreams.
On a personal note, I would like to thank my father-in-law and grandfather-in-law who were local custom home builders/developers. They have taught me more about home construction and maintenance than most builders will ever know. When it comes to knowing a good home from a money pit knowledge is priceless. I had the pleasure of learning from the best in the business.
Trust, Knowledge, Experience, Results. These are the values I live by!
