About Me

I was born in Illinois, but moved to Japan in 2009 to teach English and continue my language studies. In 2016 I moved to Monroe, MI and haven't left since! I love living in SE Michigan because of the wonderfully kind people, access to scenic nature views, proximity to Toledo, Detroit, and Ann Arbor, and the numerous family-friendly events that go on all year round! I spend my time in Monroe giving back to the community through various volunteer efforts. I may not have grown up here, but I see why so many choose to call SE Michigan home!

  • Last Day Dog Rescue - I have been working in rescue for cats and dogs for the past 10 years; I also transport injured wildlife to rehabbers
  • Founded Roll Plus Bond, a tabletop role playing community that has raised over $43,000 for various charitable organizations
