These are just a few words that clients of Amy's have used to describe her.  When searching for someone to help you with your single most valuable asset, you need someone that you can trust to "have your back" during the entire buying and/or selling process.  Amy is just that person.  Since graduating from Appalachian State University with a degree in Business and Marketing, she has been involved with people and sales in one aspect or another.  Real Estate is her "Passion".  Before becoming a Realtor in 2000, Amy was involved in the mortgage end of the real estate process.  From taking the loan application, processing the documents, closing the loan and maintaining the servicing of the Mortgage and Escrow Accounts.  Becoming a Realtor was always in the back of her mind, but she wanted to raise her two girls before making such a huge commitment to her future clients.  Being available and responsive are mandatory when working with buyers and sellers.  She realized that she would be putting in long hours to find that perfect home for her buyers, whether first time buyers or veterans in the purchase process. Spending countless time with the marketing process and negotiations for her sellers from listing to close, and maintaining those close relationships through the years.  If you look at Amy's portfolio through her 23 years as being a Realtor, you will see that the majority of her business has come from repeat clients, and those that have been referred by clients and others who have worked with her in one capacity or another.  

She has always had great support from her family, which has contributed to her successful career.  Her husband, Frank, is retired from Lancaster County Government and is an ACC Football Replay Official.  Morgan is Amy's oldest daughter and after graduating from Winthrop University she became a licensed Realtor, joined Amy's business and today they are known as The Overcash Team and have a strong influence in the SC and NC market in and around Rock Hill.  Melanie, Amy's youngest, graduated from the Duke University Physician Assistant Program in August 2019 and is employed by Duke Health in Cary, NC.

Community has always been important to Amy and she has served on the boards of Lancaster County Chamber of Commerce, Lancaster County Council of the Arts and York County Arts Council. Amy presently sits on the local association board of Realtors, Piedmont Regional Association of Realtors.
