I’m Shannon Hornacek, a full-time Realtor® with Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, proudly serving buyers and sellers throughout Summit and Stark Counties, including Green, Uniontown, Barberton, Akron, and the Portage Lakes area. With over five years in real estate and a background as a former high school science teacher and retired Army Captain, I bring a calm, knowledgeable, and no-pressure approach to every transaction. As a Military Relocation Professional (MRP), I’m especially passionate about helping service members and veterans navigate the home-buying and selling process with confidence. I’m known for a down-to-earth, professional approach that focuses on listening first and explaining the process clearly, without pressure or overwhelm. I take pride in being proactive, detail-oriented, and fully present for my clients, ensuring they feel supported and informed every step of the way.

Outside of real estate, I enjoy spending time with my husband, kids, and grandkids, boating on the Portage Lakes, tackling home improvement projects, traveling, and hunting for unique finds while thrifting and antique shopping. I’m also involved in the community through organizations like the VFW, American Legion, and local youth sports, and I believe home is about far more than a transaction—it’s about creating a place where life and memories happen. My goal is simple: to help my clients feel taken care of, confident in their decisions, and truly at home.
