Their 3 children are local as well, a daughter who graduated from Old Dominion University, a son who graduated from First Colonial High School, and their youngest who currently attends First Colonial High.

She joined the Real Estate profession in 1991, working for a husband and wife team who would later become her in-laws. She would learn skills in both sales and property management over the years working on a family team. Later her brother-in-law, sister in-law, and aunt would join the team as well. As the saying goes, all good things must come to an end - her in-laws retired, and in 2018 Kelly joined Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, one of the top residential real estate brokerage firms across America and remains family owned and operated.
