After a long and successful career as an executive in the corporate insurance world, I recently made the decision to transition to a new career that didn't involve constant business travel and would also allow me the opportunity to focus on something I am very passionate about...real estate and where I live. I am a long-time resident of the East End of Pittsburgh and currently live in Squirrel Hill with my husband of 24 years, and our two nearly grown sons. It was easy to decide my new path since real estate has been my "side hustle" for years. I have 25 years of experience as a landlord, and with buying and selling rental properties and personal residences over the past thirty years, I have developed a thorough understanding of the Pittsburgh real estate market with a particular focus on the East End. I also have experience with thoughtful renovation of our rental properties and our primary residences. Through these experiences, I have gained a sense of how to approach renovation of an older home, whether it is within the historical context of the property, or a completely contemporary reimagination of the space. I also have a talented network of designers and contractors to call upon to assist my clients.
In addition to my insurance experience, I also have a background in engineering, environmental risk management and construction - skills which have actually complimented my real estate and rental ventures.
