Marvin Hankinson Lic. RE Salesperson Lic. RE Salesperson
Meet Marvin Hankinson, Jr.
I'm Marvin Hankinson, Jr., a licensed real estate salesperson with Howard Hanna Real Estate Services and one half of the HankinSOLD Team with my wife, Diane.
I've been helping buyers and sellers throughout the Rochester, NY area for more than 10 years, but my experience with homes goes back much further. Before entering real estate, I spent 38 years in the HVAC and building trades and am a retired member of UA Local 13 Plumbers, Pipefitters and Service Technicians.
That background gives me a different perspective when helping someone buy or sell a home. I understand many of the mechanical systems and components that make a house work and can help clients recognize questions that may deserve further evaluation by a qualified home inspector or appropriate professional.
I have also earned the Accredited Buyer's Representative (ABR®) designation, reflecting additional education focused on representing home buyers and helping them navigate the buying process.
Diane and I are lifelong Rochester-area residents, and our different professional backgrounds complement one another. Diane spent 36 years at Eastman Kodak, including extensive experience in the credit field. Together, we combine real estate experience, practical knowledge of homes, organization and personal service to help our clients make informed decisions.
Whether you're buying your first home, moving to your next one, downsizing or preparing to sell, our approach is straightforward: listen first, answer questions, explain the options and help you make decisions you're comfortable with.
Our relationship with our clients doesn't necessarily end at closing. We're happy to remain a resource when questions come up or when you need help finding an appropriate local professional.
We proudly serve Rochester, Spencerport, Greece, Brockport, Hilton, Hamlin, Gates, Chili and surrounding communities.
Outside of real estate, Diane and I enjoy camping, motorcycling, geocaching and golf. Community service is also important to us, including my involvement with the Hamlin Lions Club.
If you're thinking about buying or selling—or you're simply trying to decide what your next step should be—I'm always happy to have a conversation.
