For the Buyers:

How it Works

•The guarantee applies to properties that are free-standing, single-family homes which are sold for $75,000 to $600,000 and are enrolled in the Money Back Guarantee program. 
•Buyer submits application for Money Back Guarantee and sign rider at the time the offer is presented.
•Buyer may cancel the Money Back Guarantee application any time before closing.
•Buyer pays 1% of the sales price at closing to purchase the 100% Money Back Guarantee.
•Buyer must occupy the home as a personal residence.
•The guarantee is valid for 12 months after closing.

How to Invoke the Money Back Guarantee

•Buyer must inform Home Trade-In Company, Inc. in writing of election to have home repurchased.
•Buyer must list the property with Howard Hanna Real Estate Services.
•Buyer must purchase a substitute dwelling for no less than 75% of the repurchase price of the first home.
•Substitute dwelling must be purchased through Howard Hanna Real Estate Services for the full selling side commission.

 

For the Sellers:

How it Works

•The seller application for the 100% Money Back Guarantee must be submitted with the listing paperwork for processing and approval.
•There is no cost to the seller to enroll in the program!

Eligible Properties Must Be

•Listed for 180 days at full commission rate
•Priced between $75,000 and $600,000
•Free-standing, single-family dwellings only (no co-ops, townhomes, or condominiums)
