Mike Grogan serves as Vice President and Regional Manager for Virginia and Northeast North Carolina at Howard Hanna Real Estate Services, overseeing approximately $2 billion in annual sales volume. His team also leads Towne Mortgage, Barristers Title and Howard Hanna Insurance.
A graduate of Florida State University, Mike earned a degree in Social Sciences with an emphasis in Economics and a minor in Geography. During his time at FSU, he also served on the IFC Judicial Board.
Mike began his professional career with Commonwealth Information Services in 1994, where he introduced innovative mortgage credit reporting products and services throughout Central and North Florida before returning to Virginia as Assistant Vice President for National Sales Accounts.
His involvement in the mortgage industry led him into real estate world in the late 1990s, joining Berkeley Realty as a sales associate. Following mergers with William E. Wood & Associates and later Howard Hanna, Mike built a distinguished 19-year career as a Realtor and Associate Broker, becoming widely recognized for luxury home sales across the region. During this time he also opened a boutique commercial real estate office, Grogan Real Estate and Development, specializing in commercial development and sales.
Operating as a licensed Class A contractor for years, Mike partnered with respected builders to create and develop residential communities from the ground up. In 2014, he returned to leadership as Managing Broker of the Williamsburg office, where his recruiting-focused growth strategy helped expand the office to more than 70 agents while consistently earning recognition as the top-performing office in Virginia.
Mike remains deeply involved in the real estate community through ongoing Board leadership and industry service. He is a former Board member of the Williamsburg Area Association of Realtors and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the Real Estate Information Network.

Mike Grogan has lived in Virginia for over 30 years. He briefly left Virginia to attend Florida State University and graduated from the Social Sciences School with an emphasis on Economics and a minor emphasis in Geography. While at FSU he served on the IFC Judicial Board, was President of the Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, and was named outstanding intramural athlete in 1993. In 1994, while still in enrolled in college, Mike got his first taste of the real estate world when he was hired by Commonwealth Information Services. He managed mortgage accounts in Florida for the company during a two-year period before being relocated back to Virginia where he was promoted to Assistant Vice President of National Sales Accounts. He joined Berkeley Realty (now Howard Hanna) in 1996 and has loyally maintained his status with them ever since. Mike also took his accreditations within the industry to a new level, earning a Real Estate Brokers License as well as a Virginia Class A General Contractor License. A double feat rarely accomplished in the industry. Mike now lives in Williamsburg, Virginia and still enjoys coaching youth sports, Powered Paragliding and Competitive Bass Fishing. When not selling real estate, Mike finds time to spend with his wife Stephanie and their three daughters. They rescued a cat from the Chick-fil-A drive through, appropriately named Chicken Nugget. They also have two small dogs who are rarely left behind. Their favorite family activities are boating, attending local high school athletic events, the Kingsmill Sharks Swim Team and taking family bike rides.
Mike was previously elected to The Kingsmill Board of Directors and is the past President of both The Williamsburg Jaycees and the William and Mary Basketball Booster Club. He has served on the Williamsburg Area Association of REALTORS Board of Directors, was previously the Managing Broker for Howard Hanna in Williamsburg, Virginia. He now oversees the Central Atlantic Region as Vice President and Regional Manager for Howard Hanna Real Estate Services.
