About Andover

Andover is centrally located near the cities of Pittsburgh and Erie in Pennsylvania, and the Ohio cities of Cleveland, Youngstown, and Akron-Canton.

Andover is home to Pymatuning Lake, a man-made lake within Pymatuning State Park, bordering Pennsylvania. Every summer about 30,000 vacationers visit Pymatuning Lake for boating, fishing, swimming, and camping. A scenic two-mile-long causeway over Pymatuning Lake connects Ohio with Pennsylvania.

Pymatuning Lake Drive-In is approximately two miles south of Andover. During the summer months, the area is home to the Andover Flea Market, which is frequented on weekends by many tourists. The area also hosts a lake festival, fishing tournaments, pioneer days, a snow festival, ice fishing, snowmobiling and hunting excursions. Additionally, the John R. Overly Recreation Park, located on Chestnut Street, has a playground, hiking/biking paths, ball field, volleyball court and a picnic area with a pavilion.

The high school, middle school, and elementary school are now all located on the same campus, just west of Andover, as the Pymatuning Valley School District recently completed major renovations to the site.

The small-town, friendly feel of Andover is apparent from its motto, “Together for a better future.” A wonderful place to call home, the Andover real estate market boasts a low cost of living rich with local amenities, and neighborhoods to fit all lifestyles.
