I have always had a passion for real estate, whether it’s building, remodeling homes, or working in industries connected to real estate. My journey began in high school, where I participated in the building trades program and spent summers working for a contractor. I even started my own handyman business during that time. After college, I managed a millwork factory in Elkhart, producing trim work, flooring, and handrails found in homes. Later, I ran the office for a heating and air conditioning company, but when the economy shifted, I found myself seeking a new direction. That’s when I discovered a real estate course through a class magazine from IUSB. I took the class, passed the state exams, and the rest is history.
Now, with over 20 years of experience in the real estate and related industries—and 12 to 13 years as an active realtor—I’m deeply committed to helping people achieve the "American Dream" of homeownership. I specialize in residential, luxury, investment, and commercial property sales, with an in-depth knowledge of the Michiana area. I am thrilled to be joining the Howard Hanna SB Real Estate team and have made my decision after much consideration of their training and marketing resources. Their contributions to my curated business practices will allow me to serve my clients beyond my best abilities.
As a consistent top producer, I’m proud to be in the top 5% of realtors within the South Bend Area Board of Realtors. My business is built on honesty, integrity, trust, and loyalty, which allows me to forge long-lasting relationships with my clients. I take pride in my ability to communicate, problem-solve, and educate clients throughout the process. One of my proudest moments was closing my largest transaction to date, just under $1 million.
I approach real estate with a unique perspective thanks to my background in construction. This allows me to better educate my clients on the finer details of buying or selling a home. My method is simple: I listen carefully to my clients’ needs, goals, and expectations, and I take action. I use the “80/10/10 rule,” where if a property meets 80% of your needs, you can change 10% and live with the other 10%. It’s about finding the right home, not forcing a decision.
I’m committed to going the extra mile, whether it’s through creative problem-solving or saving complex, multi-state transactions. My dedication doesn’t end with my clients—I’m also passionate about giving back. Locally, I’ve supported the Center for the Homeless and Saint Margaret’s House. Internationally, I’ve helped renovate an orphanage in China, built homes in India after the tsunami, and contributed to housing projects in Ecuador.
To stay sharp in the ever-evolving real estate industry, I attend meetings, take online courses, and listen to podcasts. My ultimate goal is to grow my business to consistently produce $20+ million annually. I’m working to lay a solid foundation, build systems, and keep things simple while staying top-of-mind with my clients and sphere of influence.
When I’m not working, I enjoy golfing, boating, cheering on Notre Dame football, spending time with family and friends, and investing in projects like flipping and rehabbing homes. I also have a deep appreciation for history and enjoy collecting historical artifacts.
