Cathy Howard brings more than two decades of real estate experience and a unique understanding of the entire path to homeownership. A longtime Gahanna resident and graduate of Gahanna Lincoln High School, Cathy has deep roots in Central Ohio and proudly serves buyers, sellers, and investors throughout Columbus and surrounding communities.

Her professional experience extends beyond traditional real estate sales and includes mortgage lending, loan processing, real estate investing, property renovation, credit education, and financial education. This background gives Cathy a valuable perspective: she understands not only how to help clients find and negotiate the right property, but also many of the financial and credit-readiness issues that can affect the journey to homeownership.

Cathy has a particular passion for helping renters become homeowners. She understands that a future homeowner may not be mortgage-ready on the day they first call a REALTOR®. Rather than viewing “not yet” as “no,” Cathy helps clients better understand the homebuying process, identify potential barriers, strengthen their homebuyer readiness, and develop a realistic path toward becoming prepared to purchase.

For clients facing credit challenges, Cathy’s background in credit education allows her to help them better understand the factors affecting their credit profile and the steps they can take toward becoming mortgage-ready.
