Patty Crago

I would like to share a little of my story so you know who is going to be helping you find your perfect house that you have been searching for, which is so integral to the story of your own life.         

   I was born and raised in Mahoning County.  I lived in Brownlee Woods for 18 years until I married.  We bought our first house 6 months after we married. Our first home. I was 18 and my husband was 19! We rented our first house when we bought a fixer upper in Boardman 5 years later. We promptly tore everything down to the bare studs in the walls for a complete remodel. We like to think of ourselves as the first Chip and Joanna Gaines. Our savvy home purchase and remodeling vision ended up netting us a nice profit upon selling that home. We ended up settling in Canfield and have been here for 33 years. Through all those years I never lost interest in the real estate market. I truly enjoy viewing houses for sale as I see then as blank canvases upon which their future owners can paint their life stories upon.  I would tour open houses for fun!                  

I have had several jobs before retiring 5 years ago. I worked at Loretta Fitch flower shop, I smelled wonderful when I came home from work. Then I worked at Abey studio as a darkroom manager which blossomed into a broader career of becoming a Photographer myself, specializing in weddings. I put aside my career to raise two beautiful girls. I returned to the work force as a receptionist at the family business, Crago Vet Clinic. I worked there for many years. I collected many rescue animals from that job. I even took in a rescue horse!  My last position was in the billing department of a pharmacy form 14 years until I retired.                                                              I have found my calling as a Licensed Realtor and I am loving it!   I don’t just want to find you the perfect house, but I would like to find you, your perfect home, because I believe, home is where the heart is.                                I look forward to helping you finding the home where you will be creating your own future story with your family and friends.
