Al Parker RealtorĀ®
Before dedicating myself fully to real estate, I spent my career at the Norfolk Naval Shipyard, where I developed and taught courses in Radiological Controls for the maintenance of Naval Nuclear Reactor Plant Systems. In 1995, I accepted an early retirement package from the Department of Defense and transitioned into real estate full-time—a profession I’ve embraced wholeheartedly ever since.
A lifelong resident of Hampton Roads (aside from my time in the Navy), I’ve built my life and career in this vibrant community. During my service, I was stationed aboard the USS Holder (DD-819), one of the Navy’s “Grayhounds”—fast-moving destroyers always ready for action. That experience, along with my civilian career, has given me a unique perspective on the needs of both military and local families .Whether you're relocating, investing, or finding your forever home, I’m here to put my knowledge, dedication, and local insight to work for you. Thank you for considering me as your real estate partner.
You need an agent who is reliable and knowledgeable. I pride myself on being reliable and accountable in every step of helping my clients buy or sell a home.
My primary occupation was at Norfolk Naval Shipyard in the educational field to develop and implement courses related to Radiological Controls regarding the repair of Naval Nuclear Reactor Plant Systems. I elected to take an early retirement package offered by the Department of Defense, thus, making real estate my only profession. My entire life has been in the Hampton Roads community with the exception my time spent in the Navy. During this period I was assigned to a Destroyer, the USS Holder, commonly referred to as "Greyhounds", as Destroyers were always on the go. As a lifetime resident of the area and my experience with military and civilian life I would like to put my expertise to work for you.
Thank you for your consideration
