Dave Hyson
Don't Trust Your #1 Investment to Just Anyone!
Dave Hyson is a seventh-generation York County native with deep local roots and a practical, analytical approach to real estate. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Engineering from Pennsylvania College of Technology and a master’s degree in Engineering and Management from the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University.
Before focusing fully on brokerage, Dave owned and operated a property management company overseeing more than 100 units and has personally been involved in acquisitions, renovations, rehabs, leasing, and long-term portfolio strategy. His background allows him to advise clients not only on buying and selling homes, but on the why behind the numbers—helping them evaluate value, risk, and long-term potential.
Dave works with a wide range of clients, from first-time homebuyers to experienced investors purchasing single-family homes, multifamily properties, and real estate held in IRAs. His experience spans everything from light cosmetic updates to full-scale rehab projects, giving clients practical insight into condition, cost, and opportunity.
Outside of real estate, Dave previously served on the board of York Habitat for Humanity as Chair of the Building and Site Selection Committee. He is an elder at Hopewell Presbyterian Church in Felton, an Eagle Scout, and a graduate of York County School of Technology.
Whether you’re selling a home, buying your first, or looking to strategically build or diversify a real estate portfolio, Dave brings local knowledge, technical insight, and real-world experience to every transaction.
