Mary Simmons
As a retired history teacher and school librarian, I bring a unique perspective and a wealth of knowledge to the world of real estate. As a native of Suffolk, Virginia, and a resident of Currituck County for 36 years, I am deeply rooted in the community and understand the nuances of the local market.
Together with my late husband, Jackie, I have built or renovated over six homes, gaining invaluable experience in the construction and renovation process. I even directed the construction of my current home, ensuring every detail met high standards. I quickly realized the benefits and freedom of downsizing, and will help my clients through the process of downsizing so they can find the same benefits and freedom!
As a longtime Currituck County resident and retired educator, I bring a thoughtful, client-focused approach to real estate. With over 36 years in the community and personal experience building and renovating homes, I understand both the local market and the details that make a house a home.
I work with only a select number of clients at a time so I can provide the attention, care, and guidance each one deserves. My passion for historic homes and involvement with the Historic Preservation Commission reflect my love of properties with character and lasting value.
Whether buying, selling, or downsizing, my goal is to make your transition seamless and your real estate experience enjoyable.
