Gary is a full-time realtor with over 40 years of experience, bringing a wealth of knowledge of the real estate process and Hampton Roads area to both buyers and sellers. As a lifelong resident of Virginia Beach, Gary's knowledge of the area runs deep. Raised in a military household and attending Virginia Beach Public Schools, Gary understands the unique needs of military families.
Gary's previous experience in the building industry as a distribution representative has equipped him with the tools needed to offer the highest level of customer service, organization, and negotiation skills for his real estate clients. He has closed more than $240 million in volume, helping more than 1,000 families buy, sell, or relocate.
Gary has received numerous awards over the years from the Hampton Roads Realtor Association, such as Circle of Excellence for 16 years and the National Sales Excellence Award. He is also proud of his company awards, including Top Sales Agent, Top Listing Agent, Top Relocation Platinum Agent, and other Howard Hanna awards such as the Spark Plug Award, Loyal Service Award, and the Green Penguin Award.
Gary has spent his life volunteering throughout the 757. He has been active in the Jaycees, working to grow the popular ECSC and their pro series, as well as the Flame of Hope Memorial Project at Oceana for continued awareness of the POWs and MIAs of the Vietnam War. Gary, once a single dad, also enjoyed coaching his young son in youth baseball, basketball, and assisting as a scout leader. He is now the proud grandfather to five boys and one beautiful girl.
Driven by outdoor fun, Gary enjoys biking, camping, skeet shooting, and a round of golf. Pickleball is next on his list!
