Merle Dunson joined Howard Hanna /Allen Tate in 2026. Prior to joining Allen Tate she  worked with RE/MAX Realty Professionals for 22 years. When she started in 2001 she was a top producer with Poinsett Homes. She and her partner sold over 100 homes in less than 2 years. Her experience includes the sale of townhomes, single family and patio homes. She was involved in every stage of the building process from the selection of floor plans and housing products to the completion of the home. Prior to becoming a Realtor, she was the owner and operator of a nationally sold jewelry business.  Merle also worked with a local event planning company. Her talents include the arts, floral design, desktop publishing and extensive computer experience. She never meets a stranger and loves to help people in many ways including finding or building their dream home. She currently resides on the Eastside with her husband. She also has 3 children and 12  grandchildren that she loves to spend time with!
