Over the years, my own journey with homes has been full of experiences. I've been a renter, I've purchased an existing home, I've rolled up my sleeves to renovate, and I've worked along side my family to build our home. Each step taught me something new about what it really means to find the right fit - and I love sharing that perspective with the people I serve.
Rockingham County has always been home for me. I grew up here and have raised 3 beautiful children with my husband. This community means so much to me and I am honored to now help others put down roots, make memories, and find their own place to call home.

Hi, my name is Paula Rakestraw. I am a proud daughter, wife and mom of three who has deep roots here in Rockingham County. I grew up in this community, raised my children here and currently live on a sheep farm in Madison.
For years, I've dedicated myself to serving children and families -- as an advocate and as a member of the Rockingham County Board of Education. Now, I'm excited to extend that same passion into real estate. I understand that a home is more than four walls -- it's where life happens, families grow, and stories unfold.
