Shannon arrived in North Carolina by way of Colorado. She and her family have been living in Black Mountain since 2004. Although sad to leave Colorado, Western North Carolina was the best option in order to remain in the mountains, while being closer to family. She loves exploring and spending time with her husband, two (almost grown) boys and chocolate lab, Winnie. She believes that this area offers unmatched opportunities for families and individuals seeking a true mountain lifestyle. She is a graduate of Ohio Wesleyan University where she was a collegiate athlete on the women's soccer team. While in Colorado, she held positions in the fields of education, recreation and youth mentorship. Her past local work experiences include helping open the Cheshire Fitness Center (now known as the Black Mountain YMCA) and Ridgecrest Conference Center. Her friendly personality and knowledge of the area will be a benefit to buyers and sellers alike. Shannon is committed to client care. She sees and supports the people involved in every transaction. Clients continue to work with her on multiple transactions and they refer her to their family and friends. Shannon earned her real estate license in 2017.
