It’s amazing how much one can learn about real estate while living and working abroad. During my five-year tenure overseas, I visited more than 30 countries, realizing in the process that home is a place where dreams begin.

Life in these mountains has been happening pretty fast: the pandemic brought me home early from a five-year work stint in Kuwait. The summer following, I met my husband, Brian, who is a professional kayak instructor, EMT, and firefighter. He and I now live on the Green River in Saluda with our dog, Maggie. In just a short time, I went from being surrounded by hot, dry desert to viewing the Green River game lands from our kitchen window, grabbing my kayak, and riding its waters down through the gorge, or going for a hike or trail run along its banks.

I love Saluda so much, and I feel so privileged to live on such a beautiful property and be a member of such a welcoming community! When I am not by the river, I’m up the mountain practicing yoga at an outdoor studio with stunning views of nature (Yoga at the Treehouse), hanging out at my favorite coffee shops in Tryon (Openroad) and Saluda (Wakey Monkey), or spending time with my family in Hendersonville, who have lived there for almost 25 years.

As a previous career educator and world traveler, I am ideally positioned to help you in your home buying and selling process. I break down the intricacies of real estate into simple steps, making the process easy and efficient, while maintaining a broad and inclusive perspective about people and cultures. My first "real" job ever was in real estate, leasing apartments, which I loved for the relationships I developed with the residents. Then I went into teaching, relishing my position helping children prepare for their best future.
