I am a leading relocation specialist, small business owner, devoted wife, mother, grandmother, and adoptive parent with a passion for helping families find not just a house, but a place to truly call home. Born and raised in Florida, I relocated to North Carolina in 2008 and quickly fell in love with the mountains and the community I now proudly serve.
My professional background includes five years working with FEMA following Hurricanes Katrina, Wilma, Ivan, and Ike, where I completed more than 10,000 disaster housing inspections. That hands-on experience gave me extensive knowledge of home structure, functionality, and the details that matter most when buying or selling a property.
I have always had a passion for interior design and decorating, which allows me to help clients see the full potential in every home. I began my real estate career with Beverly-Hanks in 2018 and transitioned to Team Billy Taylor in 2025, where I proudly work alongside my daughter, Alyssa Horner.
I am committed to guiding my clients through every step of their real estate journey with integrity, compassion, knowledge, and genuine care. For me, real estate is more than a career — it is my passion, and helping people feel at home is what I love most.
I understand what it means to balance a family and career. Combined with my years of home inspections, I understand the heightened stress of the home buying or selling process on any family or professional. I’m here to stand at your side while you achieve your goals.

I came to the Asheville area in 2008 by way of Orlando, Florida. I am a local small business owner, mother of three, (Grandma to be) and wife to my best friend!
I would love to be part of your new future or help you say goodbye to your starter home!
Prior to becoming a full-time real estate agent, I performed disaster housing inspections for FEMA after Hurricane Katrina struck the Louisiana area with the largest natural disaster in centuries. I wanted to do my part as a citizen, and this was the way I could do just that.
I traveled for years in that position, completing 7,000 housing inspections, and learned more about homes and businesses than I ever dreamed possible. After I moved home to settle down, I worked in a bank and a restaurant, and started my family. My family took focus, and I spent the next decade watching my children grow and helping my husband build our family-owned and operated business in Asheville.
I understand what it means to balance a family and career. Combined with my years of home inspections, I understand the heightened stress of the home buying or selling process on any family or professional. I’m here to stand at your side while you achieve your goals.
