My family and I have proudly called the High Country home for over 25 years. We deeply value the supportive, close-knit nature of this community—a compassion we experienced firsthand in 2012 when we lost our home to a fire. The unforgettable outpouring of support we received then fuels my commitment to serving my real estate clients today.

A Legacy of Leadership at Appalachian State
Before transitioning to real estate in 2021, I dedicated over 20 years to higher education at Appalachian State University. As a two-time alumna (B.S. in Communication/PR and M.Ed. in Higher Education Administration), my career was defined by Strategic Planning and institutional growth:
Marketing Strategy & Inclusion: Served as Director of Marketing Communications and Inclusion, promoting student success across 18 diverse units.
Academic Affairs: As Director of Programs, I collaborated with the Vice Provost on the Faculty Fellows Program and the university’s institutional accreditation (SACSCOC).
Global Learning: As Assistant Director of the QEP, I helped strengthen campus-wide global perspectives and managed international travel and learning programs.
Leadership Development: Member of the prestigious Chancellor’s Academic Leadership Development Program (2019-2020).
Community Commitment
I believe in giving back to the place that supported me. I currently serve on the boards of OASIS (supporting survivors of domestic abuse) and the High Country United Way Executive Board.

My family and I have lived in the High Country for over 25 years and love it here! We reside in a community that supports its members. In 2012, we lost our home to a fire. The outpouring of support was unlike anything we had ever experienced. That level of care and support inspires my desire to serve others. Helping others fuels my life.
I am a two-time Appalachian State University alumna with a B.S. in communication/public relations and a master's in higher education administration. I also worked at the university for over 20 years before retiring in 2021. The university still plays a significant role in my life.
During my time at App, I was given numerous opportunities to give back to communities near and far. I've embraced these opportunities and continue to serve in areas that I believe contribute most effectively and compassionately to the well-being of people and the organizations that support them. This is why I am a proud board member of High Country United Way and Oasis Inc.
I became a Realtor because I understand that a home is where we establish life's foundations. Homeownership sets the framework for realizing our dreams and developing healthy communities. I love what I do!
